Madwoman Across The Pond!
Here's the latest from the mega ufo lounge act her bad self! Kick it, girlie:
Hello Thrillseekers,
Still here in beautiful England, and the big news is that we have started and are well into recording the new CD! Life here in studio land is brimming with activity. Since I have been taking a break from gigging for the past several months, I am (sort of) on a schedule (yikes!) to discipline (aaagh!) myself to play music a few hours a day. Essential now as we are recording most evenings and it is good to be nimble and lithe and all that in the studio (to sing and play that is). It is a lush acoustic electric orchestral space rock experiment as we add and subtract a plethora of psonic delights! And it sounds pretty good too. Andrew (Jethro Tull's killer keyboardist) is doing a cracker job producing and is having lots of fun with only a few small side effects from excessive headphone wear.
In my spare time, I am in important business meetings with myself dreaming up album titles and picking out publicity photos for Rolling Stone. Soon I will have The Title that sums it all up.
Meanwhile, I will be doing a bit of gigging in the U.S. this summer, and soon will be posting some dates. If you would like to host a concert in your area, please contact Jennifer at this web site for details and scheduling info. For those of you in the U.K., I am currently looking for a qualified agent to handle the bookings for me here. If you are that person, contact Jennifer via this web site and she will pass on all data to me.
Well, that about does it for the news. Look for lots of changes to this site soon, as Jennifer is feeling the Uranian urge to reconfibulate the design of www.vyktoria.com.
Til then,
Vyktoria
