Vyk Did The UK!
All good things must come to an end, even Jethro Tull tours.
(I know. Kinda makes you cry, doesn't it?)
Yes, friends, that's right, Vyktoria's adventures in Tull Land are finally over. She had what can only be described as a MEGA time opening for the Tull boys and successfully completed their UK tour on December 5th in Oxford.
Not only did Vyktoria have a fantastic time performing for some very generous, polite audiences in jolly old England, she also met some wonderful new fans (if the volume of e-mail we've been receiving at the website is any indication, there certainly are a lot of you folks out there :), ate some excellent Indian food (burp), and sold out of the approximately 400 CDs she took with her to sell at the shows. It was truly a fulfilling and lovely experience, and Vyktoria is excited about scheduling a solo tour so that she can entertain you all with a full-length set next time!
Now, for Vyktoria, it is, as we silly Americans have been known to say, "Miller Time." :) She is currently on a well-deserved sabbatical in Great Britain for the next month, then will begin selecting and tweaking tracks recorded on the Tull tour for a live album to be released in 2000. Another "tour diary" will be posted on the website shortly (run for your lives!! ;), as well as some new pictures documenting her unforgettable UK experience.
Speaking of website news, we've just added several new pictures to the Image gallery (for John Tesh lovers, it's a must-see! :) and updated various bits & pieces in other sections to bring everything up-to-date. Check back soon for more new pix and extended silliness!
