Vyktoria Pratt Keating's new CD, This Guardian At Noon, showcases her guitar and voice with mystical, metaphysical lyrics that speak of "Morning Prayers," "Where You End I Begin," "Venus Direct" and "Germain." She delves into her subjects using a surrealistic perspective to look at the ways we relate to spirit and each other. Her voice has a range like Joni Mitchell or Kate Bush. I find this album is much more interesting than her previous effort. Her new material stretches the listener's imagination, and there is more poetry in her lyrics and song style now.
